Processing Tips
Clarified PP can be used in all fabrication processes – injection molding, blow molding (EBM, IBM, ISBM, SBM), sheet extrusion, third generation thermoforming, and extrusion of film or fiber.
Because third generation clarification technology provides both a powerful nucleating agent and clarifying agent, resin solidification occurs significantly faster than a standard resin. This results in higher throughput over non-nucleated PP in most processing operations. Equipment parameters are normally adjusted to take advantage of this improvement and to ensure trouble free processing.
